I began my artistic career as a photographer over 15 years ago and have been commissioned on some excellent locations, projects and people, including Pavarotti.

Among a number of prizes won over the years, I won the Spalding Open prize for photography in 2004 and the David Bellamy prize for sculpture in 2005

Current Work I am currently sculpting a series of "life" studies, mostly hands. I'll update the site with "work in progress" soon

I am also working on a series of Oil paintings entitled "Creation", an explosion of reds, oranges, crimsons as well as also continuing with the seascapes series

After a varied and interesting career, I opened my own bookshop and artspace which opened further doors to a whole host of regional arts ventures, including my election as Chair of two regional arts groups, one of which is a registered charity. As well as the photography and direct artsales, I also teach, run workshops, am director of a publishing house and run a translation business as well as organise book, art and craft fairs so that there’s somewhere accessible and affordable for local people to sell their creations.
